I was told to put raw fur in paper bags and put in the freezer until your ready to sell. is this true? Im new at this and plan on attending handling seminars when available. but any help would be appreciated

If you freeze your fur in paper you stand a good chance that it will get freezer burned. The best way to freeze your fur is to vaccuum pack it as air is what causes the freezer burn. If you don't have a vaccuum packer, you get get large ziplock bags and get as much air out of the bag as you can. You shouldn't try to keep it for more than a few months unless itis already stretched & dried however.

Joseph8 there are usually several fur handling demos at the NYSTA convention. It would be worth your time to attend to see these demos. If ya cant make it there are also several good fur handling dvds available.
