Could someone proficient in Putting up muskrat post some pictures of them on boards. I just put up my first muskrat and would like to compare it to some well done put ups.
Also, how do I add multiple pictures to a post. I have been trying to put pictures up to be critiqued but could not get it done.
Thanks.

Thanks nyrat.
Mine looked like those. I had a little bit of disappointment last night though. I went to remove the pelt form the board and couldn't get it to budge. I did use a belly board. What is the best way to remove the rat from the board when dry? As I was trying to remove it I tore the belly about 5 inches up the center. Is this pelt ruined?
Another question. Does the bottom of the plet follow the same line on the back and belly when on the board or do you leave an viewing area on the belly. Could you post a picture of the belly side also.

the pelt will grade damage. try pulling from the nose. never had a rat stick on a board.or use the belly board to losing the pelt from the board. are you shinng yuor rats for boards. the guy that i get my borads form showed my how the get a inch or more on rats skinned . dont go from foot to tail . amke a cut from foot to foot staight across look at the pic and see back is longer then the belly.

You can smack the nose a couple times on the floor if the pelt sticks and will sometimes loosen it. Did you put the pelt on the board wet? If you do that will cause it to stick sometimes too. To post multiple pictures you need to use a picture hosting site such as photobucket.
