What's all involved in skinning out feet on fox or coyote?
Thanks,
Denny

Denny...it's not real hard, but you'll need a little bit of patience and an exacto knife or scapel to make the job easier. As already stated, skin down to the pad, but I don't split the pad as I want the whole pad left on, so I skin around it as well as working the skin off the toes down to the last joint. Once down to the last joint, I cut through the bone with a pair of diagonal cutters and use a lot of borax packing it down into the cavity created. I'll leave it in there for a couple of days then shake it out and put some more in, losely this time until I'm ready to sell or get tanned.

There's no need to skin out the feet unless you plan to sell them to either the taxidermy or specialty market. If you're just selling them to Joe furbuyer, no price difference
