Does anyone know how much it is to get a coyote tanned? I caught my first coyote this season and want to get it tanned since its my first

Depends on where you get it tanned. DO NOT take it to a taxidermist to tan unless they do it in house and have a good reference. Most taxidermist's send out their small game animals to get tanned. You can pay up to 1/6th of the price by sending it directly to the tannery yourself. Check out the supplies page. There are a few tanneries listed there. you know you can tan your own? I'm not sure it's that hard. I'm tanning a coyote that was a road kill. Gander Mountain sells the tanning kits. I'll let everyone know how hard it is and how well it turned out. I'm going to experiment on a squirrel first just to get the hang of it.

I've tanned a few deer hides and a couple of bear hides in the past but never furbearers. After seeing the coyotes that Von had done at Tubari, I would just pay them to do it.
