Does anyone know of a magic, easy way of getting snarles, burrs, and matted hair untangled from a Fox tail? I've never caught one this bad. I thought there was something wrong with it until I saw it up close it's badly snarled. Any suggestions?

You can buy a bottle of hair detangler for horses at your farm supply store works great its only like 1 $ that and a fur comb should solve your problem

Try some WD40, I used that on some tough burrs with good success.

Anything that will soften the burrs will work. I've used WD40, hair conditioner and even tried linseed oil once because it was sitting in the furshed. They all work and just about all the same too

after softening..try plucking with an old table fork. Take out a lot less fur then with a comb
