i put 2 fisher and a mink on boards in small room. i have a fan going and its a constant 65 in there. how long should it take for them to be ready to come off the boards? also a question on front leggs, how long should i leave them in length? i forgot to mention i tried the skip the flip method.
thanks

at that temp. with a fan on, the mink will probably be dry in 2 days, maybe less. Like all the Leather out furs I like to put rubber bands on the front legs, let them dry and cut them short. No matter what, they need to be dry before cutting, tucking them inside or whatever you plan to do with them. you can tell when a fur is ready to remove just by snapping it all over. should sound hard like cardboard, no soft spots. If you dont need a board for awhile, just leave the fur til you need to stretch another. I little extra time on the board wont hurt.
