ive caught a few but this year i started trapping coyotes a lot more. i am pretty sure your supposed to flesh them totally clean but it seams like no matter how gently i remove the last layer of fat the hairs seem to come through. if anyone can help me out it would be great... ive never had this problem with anything else

When fleshing coyotes you do have to remove the fat and that membrane, sometimes you can get it started and then pull it off.

I had the same problem. In fact I still do. Its tough in the early season not to expose the hair follicles. Any more advice on this out there?
