I'm headed back to school on monday. I went through the whole first semester without getting one piece of mail other than school bills. It was really discouraging. I miss not being able to talk to everyone. No one else traps on campus so I can't even talk about my day on the trap line with people and my computer access is extremely limited. If you guys have the chance, I would love to get letters from ya'll. I know everyone is busy and it's asking quite a bit but it would really help me get through the next few semesters is I had people I could write letters too. Thanks so much!

(I'm IN) When i get something i will take a pic. of it and print it, than mail it to you. We all need to stick together as trapper and friends. I'm sure that is the least that i can do. I learn alot on this site and made new friends.

I can send you a copy of a feature article I wrote on beaver trapping in NY Outdoor News which Scott and Wayne served as sources!
I would think almost every college campus is wired for high-speed these days, and they should have some sort of labs that you could get into to use a computer and view this forum. I don't think this would be filtered from a campus.

The main part of the campus has wi-fi, the only problem is you need a computer to use it...(which i can't afford). There are 7 computers in the field house, which are ALWAYS being used because alot of people here can't afford computers. And then there are the ones in the library which run so slowly it's pointless to even try and use them. My work schedule also doesn't allow me hardly anytime in the library. I wish it did. So yesterday was a typical day for me. 5:30-6:20 get up and feed the horses/goats/llamas 6:30-7:00 breakfast 7:15-7:45 quiettime(morning devotional) 8:00-1:00 Classes 1:00-2:00 Lunch/Break 2:00-4:00 Work floors crew(sweeping/moping, etc.) 4:00-5:00 Work Maintence shoveling snow/chopping ice 5:00-6:00 Dinner 6:00-6:30 feed the horses/goats/llamas 6:30-9:00 Study Hours 9:15-9:30 Dorm Devotions 10:30 in dorms 11:30 Lights Out Some say the school is too strict, but I love it! And besides, any free time I have you’re more likely to find me out snowmobileing, or skijoring than you will in front of a computer. Starting tomorrow every weekend we will have 500 teenage campers here from Friday to Sunday for Snow Camp. It’s going to be awesome but takes away even more free time but I guarantee you that every single one of the 457 students at this college would give up ALL their free time if it meant a single kid could come for one weekend. It’s just awesome for us. On Monday my friend Dan, my brother Adam and I all went out squirrel hunting off campus for about 3 hours and then spent an hour skinning and cooking them. It was just a good time ya know? We love it here it just makes it a little more difficult to communicate with the outside world. Besides, it’s nice to get emails and everything but there is NOTHING like walking to the mailroom and finding an actual LETTER in your mailbox. It makes your spirit soar. There are only two types of people leaving the mail room. Ever. Those who are ecstatic because they got a letter or package, or those who are bummed because once again they didn’t get anything. I also don’t have time to sit and write long drawn out emails, or check forums everyday. At least letters I can write during class (which actually helps me focus more, believe it or not) and not be rushed while doing it. Anyway, I know this post is kind of long and drawn out, I’m supposed to be working on 2 essays but I’m not really getting anywhere. One is for Theology on Theistic Evolution and the other is for Old Testament Bible Survey entitled, “The Danger of Running from God; A Lesson Learned from Jonah.” Well I guess I should get back to work. I’ll talk to you guys later! -Bear
