I have a fox set that was dug up. Now i use gloves and kneel on a foam pad when i make my set, when i use lure i remove my gloves. Still my trap was dug up and was not fired just flipped over. I know i had done something wrong but what. I had it packed in tight so it did not move at all. Can anyone help me thanks..............

Were there any tracks in the dirt? Sounds a lot like a raccoon. Many times a raccoon will either play in the soft dirt with ots paws or even root around like a pig with it's snout.

A coon is a possibility like Wayne said. If it was a fox and he is wise to you , try making a flat set near your dirthole set but use only urine as an attractor and blend it in good with a brush. Use a different source or brand of fox pee if you can. Look hard at the terrain near your original set and try to pick out a feature that catches your eye, to make this set againist. There might be a weed stalk, or clump that stands out. Also a second trap blended in where the fox or whatever stood to flip your trap, is another possibility to try. Hope this helps a little.
