If I stretch, dry and have professionally tanned a beaver pelt it will yield X number of square inches of finished product. If I take that same fur. salt it and have it professionally tanned will it finish the same size?

It should, the salt just pulls the moisture out of the pelt, or maybe it will shrink it a bit.

Well as a rookie you are having a good season! I mean a GREAT season ;D It took me a few years to catch a fox and you accomplished that already! I see that you were a Marine, how long? Thanks for serving!

USMC 2 April 67 - 2 April 71 -- RVN May '68 June '69. KC-130F. I know the story of The Sound Of Freedom and you are so right on. Thank You for what you do. With the warm weather half my sets are under water. And now 13 degrees and high of 20 the other half is froze in the ponds.....ugh.
