I shot this white-tipped tail coyote this past winter and the gent I give all my critters to had it soft tanned and gave it to me in appreciation of our team efforts. I have two questions for anyone who might be able to help me out. Any ideas as to it's value? Fur is thick, shiny, soft and smooth! I would like to display it and was interested in knowing if I cut it straight up the stomach from head to tail if that will ruin or devalue it in any way? Thanks in advance for any advice.

Could be nobody knows if it will be de-valued. If you are only wanting to display it for yourself, why even worry. If you like it what difference does it make on the value. It's only worth the price of a tanned coyote right now, white tip tail or not. IMO.
