I sent a couple furs to NAFA for auction and saw that one of my fishers was 1 of 12 in the first lot to sell. It was graded SSL.Is this what you guys call THE TOP LOT? Am a little excited that it might be. Thanks

Whichever lot goes for the highest price in that section will be top lot. Sometimes it is not necessarily the lot at the top of the catalog, but usually it is.

pale is the color grade.go to nafa homepage, click auction, click selling with nafa, scroll down click wild fur, scroll down to resources.on the bottom it will have select grading manual this will explain color grades and primeness for all the species.
