Guys what are some good magazines to read for new trappers to get more knowledgeable? Who has a favorite? I saw online "trappersworld" and it looked pretty good to me. What do you like out there?

You can pm your email address to me. I'll send you a member application. The Credit Card option on the website is down so you'll have to pay by check though.

NYSTA membership and Trappers World is a big step in the right direction. FFG is a good magazine.
Now as a beginner I believe instead of off the shelf magazines you would be better off with some how to books and or Videos. NTA has some very informative books & videos. Charles Dobbins. Slim Pederson. What you will be doing is learning. never mind how many animals you see. Grab the information, practice, go in the field look for animal sign. if the animal in question is not there you are not going to catch it. It is school time. Enjoy

In line with what Mole said, when I started targeting K9s, I bought Leggett's books and videos. One of the best choices I've made. They have a simple method that just plain works. I still use their method currently.
The videos are very dry, don't try to watch them after being outside all day, you'll never make it through, but the methods are priceless.
