I will be buying fur again at Jim Aubrey's this fall and again in the spring. The fall date is set for Friday, December11th, from approximately 3:00 to 7:00 pm. Jim's place is located at 32 Leary Flint Road, Brasher Falls, NY. Jim has a complete line of trapping supplies available so it's also a great time to pick up anything you need while there.

Are you buying coon?

I will buy some coon if I'm buying your other species as well. That said, I am forced to be very selective in the size and quality of coon that I am able to purchase as there very honestly is NO MARKET for low grades and poor colors and it could be years before those types are saleable at any price. This is the first time in my life I will have to refuse to buy some items.

Mr. Rockwood, Will you be buying at the sale in Owego at the Tioga County Sportsmans Club this year? Also, I have some green beaver to sell as I do not have the facility to process them.

A good fur sale considering the market. Thank you Mr Rockwood. I also picked up a few trapping supplies. Thanks Jim.

Seemed to be a good turnout while I was there. Saw some good fur , talked with a couple old friends and met a few more.
Thank you Jim Aubrey and John Rockwood for making this possible.

What was the interest in the fur? What did it sell for?

Seeing how this was only one buyer and not an auction, prices may be a little confidential.

I want to thank Jim Aubrey for providing this opportunity to both myself and the trappers who attend. We had a great turnout and hopefully, if there is still any demand at all for fur, we will do it again in April. Thanks to all who attended, I sincerely appreciate your business and even more your trust and friendship. Stay safe out there and I'll see you all again in April.
