Well first off congratulations to all making some awesome catches so far. I have put off skinning till today and wished i had not. I know to let beaver sit a day or two and well thats about it. Could someone with a little time and experience let me and us newer folks know what we should be skinning the day of catch?? What we should be letting sit for a few days ect.... That would really help me as i have not enough experience yet and i have gotten quite a mixed bag thus far in the season.
Thank you, Carson

K9 I do the same day because they get green belly quick. Everything else depends on if its wet or not

Skin everything the day you get them, nothing should be sitting "a few days or so".

I think we owe it to the critters to skin them and process as soon as possible. Any spoilage will render the pelt almost worthless.
