home depot has two cu. for like twelve bucks .... better get it from somewhere that keeps them covered and dry because they can hold alot of water if the bales are left out

any sphagnum peat moss is fine its all basically the same

My opinion but its a good idea to get your peat moss home , open it up and spread it out on a tarp to dry it out. It will work better for you as trap covering.

I got a bag in the shed its like 5 years old dry as can be just needed to shift it out still and get body grippers done think I may boil them in the works then paint

if that bag in the shed has been open and absorbing all the gas oil paint and pesticide smells that are wafting around in the shed you may want to rethink using it .... being a dry medium it will draw moisture to it over time and the moisture in your shed is ripe with those odors .... best to get it fresh and use the left overs for your garden in the spring or plant the Mrs. a nice rose bush or two :-)

Its a new bag never opened and ya I have a 3ft by 3ft shifter and I dont keep gas in the shed of any of the other stuff its a trapping shed lo and i do it out in the yard and hope for a head wind so it gos righrb the crazy lays window not mine I have half of a tote left from last year ro use first I dont use dry dirt any more I do need tomake some pan covers boiled body gripper tonight will paint them tomorrow flat black

lol! And if the wind's not right, move it so it hits her place anyhow. I remember one time opening a bag of peat on a hot summer afternoon... and getting a case of brown lung! "Dust" doesn't nearly describe the blast of peat powder that came whooshing out of the compressed bag. I sounded like The Godfather for a long time after that.
