Bridger 1.75, it's only 1/8" bigger jaw spread than their 1.5 coils. Nice little trap for the money. Actually misleading calling it a 1.75 as it's a 1.5 size trap.

Gotta ask. What you planning on with these square jaw 1.5s??
I've had many issues with foot damage on coon with a northwoods 1.5..
Excellent fox trap though and held a good many yotes with them also.. My opinion one of the best fox traps ever made was a northwoods 1.5...

Ya I think after I put the new springs dogs and pans on I am selling my sleepy creeks and getting the bridger now back to the square jaw and bad story's how was your set up like I like a short chains and 3 swivels and a shock springs just to see if I try it a different way or is it all the trap just some food for thought I like a off set jaw these traps would be used for rats mink coon opossum skunk fox ....yotes? But would it be over kill 4x4 just asking I dont use any traps 4x4 but looking for some input i feel if a trap is not baseplated it (will) bend over time or more wish I could put lams , baseplates, and bubble the jaws and all j hooks be welded on all traps I have

I've tried many different setups with the NW 1.5s... Never a shock spring but plenty of swivel..
My setup with this trap Now is for k9s really just fox. 2 swivel and off the side of the trap making 3rd swivel spot. Total chain about 9 inches..
No i don't go for yotes with this trap but have held a fair amount..
And as far as 4 coil i don't think its necessary really ever on a 1.5 size trap. Trap design holds critters... 4 coil IMO is more to break up through frozen ground or snow on a bigger trap.. Now my NW1.5 when i gave up on coon with them i did put music wire springs and that sure made em stout..

I have the Bridger 1 7/5s offset and use them a lot the last 2 seasons with no complaints, they have a swivel, 3 links, swivel, 3 links and swivel to earth anchor. I have not caught a yote in one but feel they will hold one if it caught one. Great fox trap, and have caught a few coon in them.
