That's very impressive Mr. Mud. Way to stick with it. That's a hell of a snare line you're running there.

before next season arrives, you'll forget about all the work, all the effort involved, and then get the overwhelming itch to do it all over again

before next season arrives, you'll forget about all the work, all the effort involved, and then get the overwhelming itch to do it all over again Oh I still have the itch and Im still at it for a bit longer...just wore out. Nature of the cable is that youre doing lots of walking and walking Ive done! The big numbers canines guys have my unwavering admiration. They really do. Thank you all for the kind words. And special thanks to my land owners and farmers!

good stuff......hat's off! I've heard that you guys MAY be losing the ability to use that tool in NJ....is that correct? MZ If we do, wed be down to cages only...There is a bill that was introduced from a couple of Middlesex county antis to ban all cables..It is stalled in Committee last I heard. There is a proposal in our regs next season for no non-relaxing locks...by definition, that is essentially what we have now. That may be an inconvenience at worst. There is some stirring going on by non-game representative on FIsh and WIldlife here over the bobcats..for some reason not understood by most, they are still listed as endangered...the fellas in our northwest corner would beg to differ.
