Talked with him just before Christmas. Said he was doing well. Running hare with his beagles. I have noticed he hasn't been on lately though.

Good buddy Papabear. Figured you were in the hills doing sometime outdoor activity. I may have to trade a coyote hunt for a rabbit hunt!

Dear Friends, Mr. Lonny we could arrange that!..............Mr. bearman 60, I dont shoot many rabbits ( most days I dont even load my shotgun) as Ive figured out my hounds cant run a dead rabbit, lol............Mr. hunter35, Ive found a few pockets of snowshoe hare and most days have fair to good running. Only had two days this year where we couldnt get a start. Regards

Although I have never personally met PaPa Bear, he has cheerfully answered all of my PM's concerning questions and advice on different sets and traps. He is a great old school trapper who knows that you do not need fancy high dollar traps to catch fur. Glad to hear that he is well. Thanks PAPA Bear!

Mr. Poratman, Mr.Papa bear is a true gem! Lonny I agree. One of the highlights of my being a part of this forum was meeting and becoming friends with Bob. Hes the real deal. We only talk a few times a year but its always great to hear from him. Ive been very fortunate in all that he has shared with me and others on this forum. Hes truly a class act and im proud to call him friend !
