Todays lesson on Fur handling before we get home. Notice ice on one beaver. caught in body trap in shallow water and froze in. other beaver caught in deeper water not so much ice. Iced up beaver has to come out that way to be thawed. you start chipping , pulling on ice you will destroy fur.

Good tip! Also, don't put wet beaver in bed of truck. Hairs can freeze to the bed.
