I passed up this fox (could not load pic) several times thinking, what harm can a three legged fox do! After watching it struggle several nights (w/nightvision) I finally thought it was best to save it from further misery. Turns out it only had two good legs, both on the left side. All in all it was still pretty amazing how this thing got around. It never stepped on what was left of it's back leg, but did use on a limited basis what was left of the front leg which has a bone protruding. It also used it's tail for balance which at times would spin like a helicopter propeller!

It is amazing how the critters can adapt and overcome some pretty significant injuries. Here's one from a few years back:

I just spoke with the gent that I give all my critters to and he said that the two-legged fox had infections up into both legs!
