I bought some longsprings that the jaws catch. Once yiu help them a little it snaps shut. Any ideas to fix them?

Clean them up good and file away any burs that may be catching the spring, then die and wax them. That should speed them up!

I make sure spring is kinked up and they don't seem to catch I think Kirkwood has some good advise i'll check for burrs

try fileing the edges of jaws in and out sides. defentely will make them faster.

fileing the jaws is a good solution check the dog to that sets it sometimes u get problems with them to and befor u dye n wax them let them get a little rust color to them then dye them it tends to stick better
