Debie made an appointment at the DEC office in Cantton,NY to get furs sealed. She was told that as long as we were there before 4 pm we would be all right. Went down next day, a friday. Walked in the door, there was a clock and it said 3;45, all right. Stated our bussiness and was promptly told that no one could help us and we would have to leave and call them monday to make an appointment. couldn't even make another appointment while standing in the office. I love NY . and told them so. it is a 45 mile trip one way to get there. Ed

that does sound pretty much like a few of them i've heard. haven't had to deal with them yet, but probably will next few days. my brother-in-law deals with the potsdam office and hasn't had a problem. he usually just stops in on his lunch break.

Would you have better luck with meeting an officer somewhere Mole? I know that when I tried to get beaver tags in Syracuse I had to go back a couple times before somebody was there. Now I call an ECO that lives near me to come and seal my pelts.

Beaver can be done through the mail. Just report them vis DECALS and they send them to you within 2 days, very easy.
