Just call a local insurance agent and tell them you need liability insurance for your business and get some quotes...

There are limited companies that provide insurance to NWCO's. If you are a member of NWCOA, they have a program in place that can insure you. In New York, years ago we worked with Dryden Mutual Insurance and got them to provide a policy for us. It is sold through the Skeele Agency, and if you contact their Chittenango NY office they can provide you with the details. They have policies with 300K to 1 million dollar liability limits, and are very reasonable. Mine for 300,000 dollars coverage is 552.00 a year, and has a zero deductible. I believe the million dollar policy is around 800.00 a year. The NWCOA policy has/had a 1000.00 dollar deductible last time I checked into it, but that was many years ago. The Skeele Agency has been around a long time, and is a family run local business that will treat you right. Hope this helps, and good luck starting out,you are doing it correctly by making sure you have insurance. Also remember if you are going to charge for your services, you are going to need a sales tax number so you don't get jammed up in the future for not collecting and paying it.
