Was wondering which state lands in these areas are worth trying to hit for turkey?

Try Tivoli bay and Lafayetteville WMu in Dutchess co.. Im sure both get hunted hard but ya never know. lafayetteville has less turkey habitat but ive seen them there. Don't know about Putnam.

Tivoli bays is in my back yard it is hard to hunt lots of honey suckle and deep ravines and loaded with ticks Lafayetteville would be the better area as i trap out rt 199 and see them there on a regular basis .

I tried Taconic Hereford twice,no gobbling at all.had real owls hooting all over, but no turkey sounds.also was checked by eco hodor there.checked me there last year also.good to see they get around.he also checked me last year during the first week of trout season.i'm waiting for him to visit me during trapping and deer hunting to make it a complete go around.lol
