The lawsuit that we have pursued against the State of Minnesota over the non-resident trapping law is proceeding. Let me cover some of the highlights. Regrettably we had to remove the original law firm and they have been replaced with a veteran attorney who we believe is best suited to win this suit. Additionally, we narrowed the number of plaintiffs down to two, Phil Brown and Tim Sawatzky. We firmly believe this gives us the best opportunity of success in ending the Anti-nonresident trapping law in Minnesota. The next hearing is scheduled for May 21st. At that time we expect to provide the information the State has required so that the Judge can rule on the merits of our lawsuit.
In light of our dedicated efforts, we are respectfully asking for any financial help you might provide. All donations to our lawsuit are confidential and if the funds are NOT used they will be returned to you. We're confident we have a strong case and that our only goal of opening the doors to Minnesota trappers to trap states currently off-limits due to reciprocity laws and to allow non-residents to trap in Minnesota is within reach. We ask that individuals, trapping associations or outdoor groups that care about this lawsuit and are interested in contributing can write a check to payable to the "Eggert Law Office" and mail it to:
Bob Mochinski

Winsted, MN 55395"
If you would care to discuss this suit and our efforts to date in a phone call please don’t hesitate to PM me with a phone number to call you at. We know that every donation is important to proceed against the deep pockets of the State of Minnesota. We thank you for your help.
