Elementary my Friend Fisherman; You take a line of about six feet long and a needle. length wise through the worms untill you have sort of a string of worms like a string of hot dogs. Very stiff pole or even just a stick, over side of boat on a bait hole. when bullhead bites lift steady dont yank and into boat , when bull head touches bottom of boat it will let go, Dont let it touch side of boat, it will let go and drop back into water. Remember; Keep your stick on the ice..

Mr.Mole has the correct has the correctanswer. Important to not let the bullheads touch the boat until they are inside. Bullheads and pancakes, Yum!
