You may be disappointed in the write on trap tags or could get into a jam with them not being legible after a catch or with age.

Stop right there! Wait until convention Labor Day week-end. You are going to get killed on shipping those traps, re-bar stakes, and fleshing beam. Much better price at convention. You don't really need this stuff now. Plan on camping out at convention and catch as many demos as possible, their worth their weight in gold.

Wire....14 and 11 gauge S hooks J hooks Crunch proof swivels S hook tool Catch pole Nitrile gloves Push pins And on and on......you don't need all this at once, I picked up things here and there so it didn't break the bank! Hope you have a great season and have some fun! Dale

so far everyone is telling you what to get... and nobody asked you what you plan to trap. I'm guessing coon from the look of your list, but it's disjointed. It can be tightened up. I'm in Naples. You are within 20min of me or Barrington in Branchport. We'll get you on the right track when summer comes

if i recall you are going after fox, the t stakes are a bad choice for land trapping as the animal will bind up the chain and not swivel causing all sorts of damage, try regular stakes or some type of earth anchor & as stated try to hook up with a person the could mentor you & teach you some of the tricks, also videos & books are great tool to help you get started , good luck and dont be afraid to ask questions as there is a lot of knowledre on here & a lot of people willing to help you out.

you buy the stock and I will weld your stakes up free. I can probably help you scrach a few things off your list. shoot me a pm. I think the last rebar was only $8.00 a 20 lenght So you would only have $24.00 in 30 stakes

Trapping season is just over six months from now. That is a loooong time. Just put away some extra money every chance that you can and make plans to go to Herkimer.

I'd wait for the summer rondy's also and save money til then.
I wouldn't buy tag fasteners ever and I would choose a good trowel over an auger.
