I was offered a job for the summer that starts next week and it's based in the Tupper Lake area. I was wondering if anyone here is familiar with the area? I am just wondering if there is a decent turkey population or if it's not worth bringing all my turkey hunting stuff with me. Thanks, Eric

davie6 I have worked and trapped in tupper lake and surrounding area for the past 20 + years. There are turkeys there but the area has very heavy tree cover.Very few open areas for strut zones. The best state land areas are old logging roads.Take your stuff with you it will give you something to do with your time off.good luck!!

Well you certainly won't be finding any mink in that area Eric.... Good luck up there.... I'd be looking for a permanent job in those parts, amazing country up there!
