I am planning on running a trapline in NY this coming season. Most likely it will be in the Adirondack area,or possibly the NW corner of the state.I am planning to run somewhat hard, and am taking time off my business to come up and trap for at least 2 weeks. This would work great with someone who's been wanting to expand their line but doesn't have the time.I will be able to do most of the checking during the day and we'd split the handling chores in the evening. It would help me by having a place to do the handling/put up,and more knowledge of the area.I have plenty of equipment to run a good sized line.I plan to make a few trips up this spring/summer to scout the areas and gain some permission.A partner would allow me to know an area to concentrate on.Whereas if I go alone, I'd be rolling the dice with my scouting trips thru research.I'm not greedy, work hard and would be splitting everything 50/50 after expenses.Thinking of mainly running a waterline with fisher thrown in.But, I run a yote line here in Pa so I have plenty of gear for canine trapping as well.I think we'd make a decent fur check, but the trip for me is about having a blast with a fellow trapper, giving it our all but still having fun in the meantime.Age and experience level doesn't matter too much to me.The partnership wouldn't include any private line you already may have.I don't want you to think I want to jump into something you already have going, but rather to expand upon it.send me a private message if you have any interest and we can talk.I'm only a few hrs away and have no problems heading up as many times as necessary to secure permissions and scouting new territory
