I caught my 1st one this year, weird little critters. I heard that Joe Mott (aka fishguts) actually skinned one last year.

We have caught a lot of them. Fun when one takes trap and drag up one of those trees. A friend and I skinned one and tanned it. came out really good probably kept at least 90% of the quills. Glad you enjoyed it. Hope you smiled. Ed

I got one in a dirt hole set last week. Boy, you can't get them to hold still so you can let them loose, ended up thumping it.
