I know cable restraints are a top priority with some of you guys but after talking to President Rockwood today there some really bad bills headed to our legislators that need to be addressed first one is the license bill Coumo wants to put in place and the other in which i hear is gaining momentum is municipalities governingwildlife laws and seasons.

If I could only talk my wife into an Alaskan wilderness cabin........... It's the other way round here, she's trying to talk me into it. I keep telling her to be careful what she wishes for..

I would love them too but be careful what you wish for. I'm thinking this is a back door way to ban the use of leg hold traps. Give us one thing and take another away.

I have mixed feelings about them. I really would not like to see someone setting a bunch of them because they are cheap and just leaving them, forgetting them and they would still be working next summer. That would not go over well.

Thanks Walleyed...I didn't really realize what I had wrote. But like I said I if this gets passed be very wary. It may be their means to the end.

When I head back to Alaska in June for the summer, it is my intentions to look for property. I should of done it years ago, but I just liked these darn mountains here so much, I couldn't give them up at the time. Its a different time now. Sad..
