I don't get how the dogless thing works. Does the pan just sit right on the jaw?

The Montana is a good dog less trap. I grew up on Dogless Montgomeries like kids today grow up on video games. The traps are very similiar.

I don't get how the dogless thing works. Does the pan just sit right on the jaw? On some trap models... pretty much yes. On others... no. KB's, Montana, montgomery, and Jakes, pretty much yes. MB and Sterling... no. You can look up pics of each and see the difference.

MB are a bit#% to set with gloves on my finger don't fit under the jaw to well . 650's have a 3 inch pan and it's tight to get finger up in there between pan and jaw.

The Bridger #3 dogless is suppose to be ready by April. As soon as they are ready I'll be stocking up for the Fur Rondy
