My boys and i are doing some trapping behind your house for fox and yotes. We set just before the cold hit this past week. Its been a long week checking empty traps all week. Yesterday was worth the hole week of nothing. We caught a Fisher in a dirt hole set. Just happen to be in my 13year old sons Ion's set I don't know who jump around more the Fisher or Ion. This was the first real animal that he has caught other than a possum. He is now hooked on trapping for life. Now here in the southern tier we have no fisher season. So after about a 100 pictures and showing it of we turned it over to the DEC. I know nothing about Fisher. That thing was the coolest thing ever, and i think it was a big one. It weighted 23lbs and just over 48ins long. Pictures to follow.
