Very nice, seems like every time I get confidence to work on the ice I gravitate to the weakest area then head home cold and wet. I like you're saw where would someone look for such a tool?

I like you're saw where would someone look for such a tool? www.darkhousegearandtackle.com/products.php?Category_ID=9I bought mine two years ago for Ice Trapping Muskrats at Montezuma. Cuts faster than a Chain saw and without getting wet too ! Mine is 88"inches when folded out to full length. Cost was around $130.00 + shipping. I cut a bunch of trench like holes today 36" X 24" to set "Swinging Shirley, Sally, Suzie" Sets or whatever her Name WAS Baited Conibears. Way easier and faster than spudding holes. w

walleyed, what are you baiting the sets with? Freshly Cut ASPEN (Poplar) Limbs wired between the lower end of the jaws, opposite the trigger. I also scrape away a spot on both sides of the limb centered between the jaws to expose the fresh white wood beneath the bark as a visual attractant. w

Another Beaver Lodge and Feed Pile I set over the weekend once the Ice Got safe enough to walk on. Ice is Mostly 5 to 6 inches away from the lodges and feed piles, and 2 1/2" to 3" inches close to the feed piles where the turbulence from the beaver activity thins the Ice. No Catches as of yet, but I am waiting patiently. w
