The Smithsonian is looking for the first catch pole ever made/invented.....looks like you have it!
Nice job.........Hats off to you for doing the right thing.....
Trappers all need to have a catch pole in the truck for incidentals........even the inexpensive hog snares at Tractor Supply have that nice memory in the cable for easy deployment.......so only one man is needed.
I think every homemade or PVC pole I've ever used broke eventually....usually it happens on the wrong animal at the wrong time.
I faced my meanest domestic dog this year EVER (that's saying something).....and due to where he ended up in the brush and his aggressiveness, even my million dollar Marlin Perkins signed Mutual of Omaha's Wild Kingdom Official pole barely worked.....your set up (no offense) would still have me there in the fight........
Just sayin'........
Dang, I'm gettin' like Austin, throwing out "advice" not sought!
I joke....I kid.............................
I remember one time I posted a pic of a triple on coyotes and a guy questioned WHY I'd set that spot! LOL
I guess we are all Monday AM QB's!
Again......good for you.

Zagman lolol! you're only good as me if you get an email saying your an (something)hole for butting into conversations with advice. Otherwise step back sonny, and let me bask in the glory of #1 jerkwad here on this board :>0 as for the question on why you set there with three coyotes pounding circles, I'd want to know the same thing: what in the hell is causing all those non-target catches at your fox sets?
