went to check out what few (9) 110s i had out for muskrat this morning. every single last one of them had a large stick shoved through them. and wouldnt ya know it, but there was a foot hold set just feet away from where i had my 110s. and for the kick in the butt? 7 of his/her traps had rats. its not that i pretend to be an expert rat trapper or anything. i just try to grab a dozen or so to help with guess prices on my beaver lines. people these days...... time to set up the old trailcams.

During deer season I start at 4 and am done by first light...If I would start at first light here half my take for the day would be gone due to hunters...Goose season here is a nightmare for me they like to get out early and most have dogs...not fun at all .

yessir i knew better than to start in that area till after deer season, unfortunately 95% of the outdoorsman would walk around and not mess with em, its that 5% that just have no ettiquette, but i was chompin at the bit (i was tagged out in the deer dept) and my early season properties were slowing down considerably, partially my fault, its on FT Drum and u cannot enter the woods before 90 mins prior to sunrise during big game season

maybe a 330 set flat in the foot path to the waters enge would help to defer thiefs just kidding of course. would just give trappers an even worse reputation
