Nice catch Ed! Hows the fur on them? I have a good spot to trap some beaver but have been holding off for fear that they aren't that prime yet. Let me know Maybe I'll make some sets this weekend. Good Job!

Thank You for your kind comments. The beaver are ok as far as fall beaver are. I would really wait a while for any serious beaver work. I wanted a couple ; one to eat myself and also for fisher bait. Ed

Thats kinda what I thought.... I have a nice active dam and back water and I've seen a few of them out and about while hunting, I was going to wait till around thanks giving time to really start trapping them, they should be furred up by then wouldn't you think? Any ways, let me know how you do on your fishers!! I only have three sets out fot them right now, I checked last night and nothing in them, all pole sets. I'm giong to make some cubbies maybe this weekend. Using vension and 'rat carcuses for bait.
