1 3/4, (inside unfortunately) laminated jaws. All I'll ever need, use, and highly recommend. BUT!!! Had a guy tell me the other day, that he knows someone that had a bunch of pull-outs with his. Sounds like B.S. to me. Whats your experience? Yeah, I know weak dog. But, I still swear by 'em. Thanks

If you swear by them, what else matters? I guess what I am saying is I like to use what I know works for me.

I have used them, only problem was the dogs are to soft. Change them as needed and keep going.

only traps i ever just plumb plain gave away.... was the old k9 wolfer... worse springs ever, soured me on bmi's.... that was quite a few years ago...
i hear people say good things about them, now... never checked them out again after that experince ... must of been a revision with the springs and levers, somewhere along the line, i would think ?
maybe the guy is talking the old bmi wolfer and the new trap design is getting the rap...dont know...like i said never checked them out again after my first experince with them.... jim

The original BMI design had the springs inside the levers. I have a few crates of them. Loved the trap design and function until the springs weakened. if anybody can figure out how to upgrade the springs I would be very interested.
