I have a stand-up freezer in my cellar that I use to store baits and lures in the off season. I was looking through it the other day for something, and noticed a zip lock bag full of Beaver Oil sacks on top of the freezer, I had left it there sometime or another this spring when I was shuffling stuff around. I put the bag in the freezer and forgot about it until just now, I was again in there looking for something, I pulled the bag out and looked at it and the oil sacks were covered (not entirely) with a greenish colored mold, much like grows on bread when it's old. My question is, will this affect the oil sacks contents? I use it for quite a few different baits and lures so I would be sick to lose all that. What do you guys think?

Dear Friend, I would soak them in a solution of salt / water for a day or so.....The oil should be fine as long as the sacks arent spoiled. Regards papabear
