I agree with papabear... I also seal my lure/bait tops with melted wax.... then you can put in a fidge or freezer.. Well I do.. But I ain't married..

There ain't no WAY IN H$%^ that my wife is going to let me put my lures in the basement.I can smell them 50' from the shed.I may buy one of those college fridges and make an extra shelf in it.

If you can smell them from in the shed.... WTH.. Mine were in my fidge/freezer all summer.. My GF SAW them when we went thru the fridge... She didnt smell them.... Get your own feezer/fridge... I may add she also lets me run my Grizzle Getter, Necker and fur knives thru her dishwasher... And shapen them while watching TV in the living room.

I put all of mine in a 5 gallon bucket and duct tape the lid on, put it in the cellar. No smell. Trust me when I say if she could smell em I'd know!!

one thing I do is take a rag and clean the threads on the bottle and inside the cap. Some lures will rust through the cap in the off season and this helps. Skunky lure bottles go in a jar with a good cap. all go down cellar where it is cool .

Dear Friend, Skunky lures go into a ziplock freezer bag and can be buried in dirt in a plastic coffee jug. Also go get yourself a playmate cooler {lunchbox size} and place a your lures and baits inside it. Regards papabear

like papabear said any skunky lure that your tired of smelling during the off season can be packed in dirt, non odorous cat litter even shredded paper will help hide alot of the smell when its packed in a container and with the lid taped
