I was looking at the drawings of the new Coni boxes and have a few questions. These are pertaining to the bigger of the boxes. This may be reading to much into it but........ The pic shows the box has a bottom and the caption says " In a container of the following" Do you need a bottom to make it legal? How are you suppose to get the trap out with an animal in it?

Thats the one. Thanks. The part that got me was "container" . Its not a container without the bottom.

It does "contain" the trap and the bait whether it has a bottom or not. Many of us prefer them without a bottom.

i think what is confusing you is confusing me as well, what i see is a slot where you put the trap in from the bottom and when a coon is caught there is no way to get the trap out with the coon and no way to compress the springs.

Once again, it's just a picture......no bottom required and in this instance, wouldn't work unless it was removable.
