The only way i have caught any was in a wooden box-with a 2" hole-mesh in back ,baited with muskrat-using a small jump trap or rat trap-hope this helps-not alot of them in my area.

make a long box about 12 " long 6" tall 6" wide with 2 holes 2" diameter at ends , make it so it hinges so you can check the trap & bait, for bait use mice, muskrat, chicken liver, a bird, for lure use some anis from wallmart on a cotton swab, or some weasel lure ,set by a stone fence, real grassey wet land area & wait you will probably have to reset every couple of days because you are going to catch alot of mice but it will work caught 4 short tails last winter this way, i used bird seed in box to get the mice to use it & get the mouse smell in box to help call the weasels in as they are the weasels main food sorce.
