I have some rat glands. What will happen if I cover them with Glycol ? Will it ruin them? Ed

Ed: Cover them If you want----- I save about half of my glands in glycol and the other half by freezing--- If you want Ill give you .25 cents a pair.

Mr. Mole, a better choice would be to cover them in Vodka. As they sit the vodka will absord that nice odor from the glands so make sure you use both glands and liquid as you grind them. ;D The vodka is a better long term preservative but like Bill said I always feel safer if they are in the freezer.

Oh, by the way Wayne, Mr Nightowl was busy making 5 gallons of Red Fox Gland Lure, a gallon of Sugar Tree, a gallon of Castor Master, and preparing various essential oils this morning. ;D Other than that I was just sitting around here waiting to solve another one of Mr. Mole's dilemmas

Wayne, I am sure you have thought about Vodka before, but maybe not for this particular use!
Ed, am I going to need a hard hat again?
