One of my Customers yesterday at work was all scratched and cut up on his face and head... Come to find out he was walking through the woods and was attacked by a Coyote! Said he'd never been so scared in his life! He was tested for Rabies and had to get shots; DEC told him that if Coyote gets desperate enough it will attack a human for food? Pretty Freaky hearing that and seeing him! I believe this happened in Madison County

That's becoming more and more common across not only the state but the US and Canada as well. Sad state of affairs that the general public still is against some of the best methods to harvest them...i.e. cable restraints, coller'um.

Definitely a good reason to keep the numbers in check.

Could be a female protecting pups as well. This time of year sure is strange for animals, coons in day light, coyotes just wandering around. Makes me wonder sometimes.

Sure would be nice if some one published this type of thing.....I mean if it receive the same level of attention as a eagle in a trap or a dog in a 220. Makes me wonder some time.
