Nice job Roger. Was this your first coyote you got a shot at or do you hunt them often?

First one this year. I get out some each year, took a double last year. Its the only double I have taken on coyotes.

It was a slight blue on back, but the belly was white I was surprised.

Was this daytime, nighttime or mix of sightings? Won't be long before the deer gun hunters have everything in a panic until late December!

I took this one during daytime, before deer hunters start. My buddy missed one at night, I hunt both times.

Anyone have any luck hunting midday? I'm doing some archery deer hunting this weekend but it's a largely first hour/last hour place.
I haven't had the time to scout many of the other nearby properties I have permission to hunt, so I plan on doing that midday. They have plenty of coyotes, so I'm considering some midday coyote hunting or just slinging a shotgun hoping to run in to some turkeys.
