Anyone ever use a layout boat like the ones from Four Rivers, Momarsh or Aquapod?

I've hunted from open water layout boats many times...Bankes, MLB & UFO. There is nothing better for hunting divers...bluebills & redheads close you can see the eyeballs moving. Imp. Cyl. & #4 or 6 shot is the way to go.
I was thinking of using one for the 50,000 snow geese sitting on the open water around here. Even with 420 decoys & electronic callers we're not having much luck in the fields.
WhistlerWhittler who just joined this forum is a big layout boat hunter....maybe he'll chime in.

Thanks for the reply. I'm actually looking at the smaller ones like the Marsh Rat for much small waters and beaver flows.
Lots of snows down this way this winter. Also a flock of about 40-50 swans spending time on the lake.

I go on a duck hunting forum and there was a thread about one of the smaller layout boats being pretty tippy if i remember right, but the thread was over a year ago so i can't find it so i can't tell you which one it was about.
