I got the leftover parts of deer. Bones with meat and fat. How would you put the bait out stand the bones un in the air or lay down.
Will this be good bait it is fresh or do I need to take it out of the freezer and let it thaw first. Just thaw or let it rot a little???

Bones make great attractors/backings at dirt-hole sets. I've never used them with the meat on them before and probably wouldn't because it may attract birds of preys. I've never had a problem using old bleached bones though.

If you want to create a new bait site put all meat in a five gallon bucket, fill up with water and let it freeze. Then take the frozen block out and place at known distance (usually about 100-150 yards) from your stand/blind.
