Hi, i am somewhat new to calling, mostly a trapper. what would your % of daytime calling vs. nightime? I have called a few critters at night but i can`t for sure identify the animal behind the eyes. i am using a nitelite with a red lense. do you use a scope mounted light? Also they amost always come up from behind me(im calling with the wind in my face) any tips would be greatly appreciated, thanks

Try calling at first light, if you are using a rifle , the scope lights work well , keep it filtered red and turn it on when ready for the shot. What ever you are using for calls , try calling quartering into the wind that will help you being able to watch the downwind side and give them some downwind cover to respond with.Or hunt with a partner and 1 person set up down wind of the caller ,this works well.good luck
