Great gun for deer, I have had good luck with 100 gr soft points by federal. Good accuracy and performance. I almost forgot to mention, I have the Savage model 11FL (Left handed). 3-9 scope. I havent had a chance to use it on coyotes yet but am going to try this year.

gotta throw my two cents in. I recently bought a remington 770 in 243 win as the result of a good review in a predator mag. they claimed they got sub MOA groups out of it. my experience was no different and i am truly amazed how tight they print. 50 yds is about the same hole and hundred yards is often half inch but usually 3/4. if i miss i know its my fault. and this is using the 100gr remington core lokts. a buddy just crushed a yote with this round and said the pelt damage wasnt too bad. going to be reloading some 80 gr nosler ballistic tips for the yotes for myself though. luke
